Autofill

Autofill is a compact pressurisation unit designed for filling and pressurising “non-house” heating or chilled water systems, replacing traditional filling loops and pressurisation units that no longer comply with Water Regulations. Measuring just 300 mm square, it requires no tank or pump (except model AFP for tall buildings). Key features include a Fluid Category 4 backflow prevention device, quick-fill valve, pressure control, high/low cut-out switches with BMS output, and pressure gauges. Fully assembled and tested, Autofill comes with stainless steel braided hoses, servicing valves, and push-fit connections for easy installation.

Boost-A-Fill Digital

The Boost-A-Fill Digital is a Fluid Category 5 pressurisation unit for filling and maintaining pressure in commercial sealed heating and chilled systems. It features energy-saving, inverter-controlled variable speed pumps delivering up to 8.0 bar pressure and a flow rate of 2.0 L/s, eliminating the need for a filling loop.

Key features include:

  • Fluid Category 5 backflow prevention for filling and top-up
  • Variable speed pump with anti-seize pulsing
  • High/low pressure cut-outs with boiler control output
  • Comprehensive BMS controls
  • Digital display with lockable settings
  • Volumetric water meter with excessive filling alerts
  • Pressure transducer for precise filling

Designed to ISO 9001 standards, the unit is supplied fully assembled with stainless steel braided hoses for easy installation.

CA Devices

The Backflow Prevention Device is designed for filling and pressurising sealed house heating systems or non-house systems assessed as Fluid Category 3 by the water supplier. A Type CA device, with appropriate pressure regulation, can be permanently connected to small heating systems, eliminating the need for a removable filling loop. For non-house systems classed as Fluid Category 4, a BA device is recommended (see “Autofill”). The CA device offers superior protection compared to a double check valve (Type ED) and includes an integral tundish for discharge. While normal operation prevents discharge, small amounts may occur if supply pressure drops below 0.5 bar or debris obstructs the relief or check valves during backpressure conditions.

Dose & Fill Digital

The Dose & Fill® system addresses rising costs and issues caused by heating systems lacking sufficient inhibitor, essential for protecting components like aluminium heat exchangers, steel radiators, and copper tubing. Unlike traditional manual dosing, which dilutes over time due to water top-ups, Dose & Fill® combines a compact, wall-mounted filling and automatic make-up unit with a 20-litre chemical container. It features the Arrow Valves Midi-Fill Digital® pressurisation unit and uses “Auto Dose” mode to monitor water added and inject inhibitor automatically, maintaining the correct concentration. Compliant with Water Regulations, it ensures Fluid Category 5 backflow protection for sealed heating systems.

Midi-Fill Digital

The Midi-Fill Digital® is a compact, wall-mounted unit designed for filling and topping up non-house heating or chilled systems, compliant with Water Regulations and providing Fluid Category 5 backflow protection. It replaces outdated filling loops with Double Check Valves for non-house systems. Key features include a pump with anti-seize daily pulse, high/low pressure cut-outs with boiler control output, BMS controls, a digital display, self-test monitoring to pre-empt faults, electronic water meters with excessive filling alerts, and a pressure transducer. Fully assembled and tested, it comes with stainless steel braided hoses, servicing valves, and push-fit connections for easy installation.
